Pay-by-the Hour Guide

Hourly parking can be paid via Pay Stations or the Passport Mobile App.

3 Hour Max

Payment via pay stations on Washington St., Front St., and the Commons Lot or via Passport App Zone 0303.

10 Hour Max

Payment via pay stations on Main St., Spring St., Baraga Ave, Third St., North Main St. Lot, Spring St. Lot, and Lakeshore Lot or via Passport App Zone 1010. Pier Lot parking via Passport App Zone 1010.

24 Hour Parking

The Bluff St. Ramp LOWER level requires payment at all times via pay stations in the ramp or Passport App Zone 2424. Parking is allowed overnight for a maximum of 72 hours. The back wall and 10 middle spaces are reserved for assigned permits.

15-minute free parking is available at all pay stations and on the Passport Parking App. At the start of your parking session, enter your license plate number and select the 15-minute free option. This session is for a quick errand and cannot be extended.

  • Pay Stations accept credit & debit cards as well as coins.

  • Parking cost is $1.00 per hour.

  • The Bluff St. Ramp 24-hour paid parking is enforced every day. In all other areas, parking is enforced Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • The Winter Parking Ban begins November 1st and is in effect until April 1st. There is NO PARKING on any city street between the hours of 1 am and 6 am. The Winter Parking Ban carries a fine of $75.00, and a vehicle could also be towed if it is impeding snow removal efforts by the plow crews.

  • Parking with a Handicap Tag or License Plate is Free within the City of Marquette, whether parking in a handicap spot or any other public parking spot.
