Connect Meetings: Downtown Marquette Promotions Updates
MDDA Connect meetings are on the third Thursday of every month to provide an opportunity for business owners and employees to discuss strategies and common issues, plan and review downtown activities, and stay informed on happenings within the district. The meetings are held at 8:00 a.m. at various hosting Business or the Marquette Commons
MDDA Board meetings
Board meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 a.m. at the Marquette MDDA office, 337 W. Washington St.
Downtown Marquette Parking
The MDDA maintains and manages eight parking lots in the Downtown Marquette. For more information and to obtain a parking permit, click here.
City of Marquette Overnight Parking Ban
The winter parking ban generally goes into effect from November 1 to April 1 but can vary based upon weather. There are fines for violating the parking ban. Marquette residents are encouraged to find alternate off-street parking before the parking ban goes into effect.
Marquette Commons
The Marquette Commons are available to rent through the Marquette MDDA for all manner of events and gatherings. Please reserve at least two weeks in advance.
Downtown Marquette Farmers Market
The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market runs Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., from mid-May to mid-December. Additionally, a Wednesday Evening Market runs mid-June through mid-September. A wide variety of produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, value-added products, and artisanal goods can be found there throughout the market season.
Social District
Any business with an active on-premise liquor licenses located within the Downtown Marquette Social District is eligible to participate, though not required.
