Holiday Parade
Experience the magic of the holiday season as children of all ages take in the wonder of the annual Downtown Marquette Holiday Parade. Bundle up with friends and family as illuminated floats, tinsel-strewn trucks and colorful carolers transform Third Street into an enchanted scene from the North Pole.
Vote for your favorite float as the parade makes its way down Third Street to the Marqutte Commones for the City Tree Lighting.

City Tree Lighting
Join us at the end of the Holiday Parade route for the annual City Tree Lighting in Downtown Marquette! Enjoy live entertainment, sip on hot cocoa, and say hi to Santa as we light the tree and welcome the holiday season with Christmas spirit.
New this year is the temporary installation, Oscillation! an interactive light display.
Oscillation was created by The Urban Conga and is tour produced by Creos.

Third Street will come alive with holiday cheer as friends, families, and children of all ages gather to watch festive floats parade by. Embrace the spirit of the season and join the celebration!
Vote for your Favorite Float!
New this year is the opportunity to vote for your favorite holiday float! Watch at they make their way to the City Tree Lighting and make your voice heard for who brought out the most holiday spirit and creativity!
Make Sure Santa Gets Your Wishlist!
Bring your holiday wish list to the parade and make sure Santa gets your letter! Look out for the Marquette Post Office workers along the route—they’ll collect letters to Santa throughout the event.

Follow the Parade down to the Marquette Commons!
The 48th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting will take place right after the parade at the Marquette Commons. Follow the parade and join in the holiday cheer as we light up the season with joy and celebration!
Tell Santa your Christmas Wishes!
Bring the whole family for a chance to meet Santa Claus himself! Santa will be there to hear your Christmas wishes, spread joy, and capture the hearts of young and old alike.
Enjoy live Music!
Feel the holiday magic as 41 West fills the air with timeless tunes that make the season bright. This performance will have you singing along and tapping your feet with delight.
Letters to Santa!
If you missed the Post Office crew at the parade, don’t worry! They’ll be collecting letters to Santa at the Tree Lighting, so you can still share your holiday wishes and make sure Santa gets your list!

With an array of vendors, from Bakers to Bread Makers, Artists, and Farmers, this holiday market has something for everyone.
Relax and Soak up the Holiday Spirit!
Take a break from shopping with a cup of hot cocoa or a sweet treat from one of the bakers, and warm up by the fire pits on the Marquette Commons.
Discover the Enchanting Installation!
Don’t miss Oscillation, an interactive light display created by The Urban Conga and produced by Creos. This installation will be on the Commons Plaza during the Market and is a great activity for the whole family to enjoy.
Fire Dance Performance
