MDDA to Host Informational Meeting

Pursuant to Public Act 7, The Marquette Downtown Development Authority (MDDA) Board of Directors is required to hold two informational meetings annually for the purpose of informing the public of the Authority’s goals and projected projects to be undertaken in the coming year.

The MDDA Board of directors will hold the second of the two public informational meeting in conjunction with their next regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, December 10, 2020, via Zoom, at 7:30 a.m. The log-in credentials to attend the Zoom meeting are below.

DDA MEETING: PARTICIPATION DETAILS The Marquette Downtown Development Authority will hold their regular board meeting beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 10. This meeting will be held virtually with board members and Staff attending remotely through Zoom video conferencing.

Public Participation

There will be three options for public participation in this meeting: video conferencing, phone conferencing or written comment. There will be one public comment period at the beginning of the meeting. Comments will be limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address. Written comments will be limited to 500 word. Members of the public wishing to make a video comment will need to visit https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88400425319 on a computer or smart device that has a camera. Members of the public wishing to call in and make a comment over the phone will need to call 312-626-6799 and enter the meeting ID 884 0042 5319. When participating via video or phone conferencing, you will be placed into a virtual lobby/on-hold until the Public Comment portions of the meetings are reached. Once Public Comment begins, the Chair will go through each person waiting in the lobby one at a time and provide them with the opportunity to address the Commission. The video and phone conference lobby will open 10 minutes before the scheduled meeting start time. Written comments can be submitted via email to becky@downtownmarquette.org. Written submissions will be accepted until 5 p.m. the day prior to the meeting. This meeting serves as one of the DDA’s 2020 informational meetings, pursuant to Public Act 57 of 2018.
