2024 Holiday Parade Registration
On Friday, December 13, experience the magic of the holiday season as children of all ages take in the wonder of the 14th annual Downtown Marquette Holiday Parade. Bundle up with friends and family as illuminated floats, tinsel-strewn trucks and colorful carolers transform Third Street into an enchanted scene from the North Pole. The Marquette Downtown Development Authority invites you to become a part of the magic by entering a decorated float, vehicle or marching unit with your business, organization or group. There is no charge to enter a float.
Route: The parade will begin at 6:00 PM at the corner of North Third Street and Fair Avenue and end at the Marquette Commons. After the parade, spectators are welcomed to the Marquette Commons where Santa Claus and friends will light up Downtown at the 49th Annual City of Marquette Tree Lighting.
Float Competition: New this year is a competition for the best float in the parade voted on by parade attendees! There will be a cash prize for 1st and 2nd place which can be made out to the participating business or organization or donated to a charity of their choice.
1st Place= $500
2nd Place= $250
