Volunteers Needed for Lower Harbor Underwater Clean Up

On Saturday, August 6 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., volunteer SCUBA divers will be in the water of Lower Harbor, removing trash from years of neglect. Volunteers are needed for both diving and surface support. To date, the annual volunteer effort has removed 11 tons of tires, 2 refrigerators, car batteries, and trash from the bottom of the harbor.
