UPDATE: Upcoming Temporary Partial Commons Lot Closure

Due to the weather forecast, Bell Roofing has had to reschedule the work being done at 221 W. Washington St. The cones in the Commons Parking Lot have been removed and parking will be available on Tuesday and Thursday of this week, as usual. The closure will now take place beginning Monday, September 13, through Tuesday, September 14. The same area will be blocked off, per the attached map, with limited access for delivery vehicles during that time. Please be mindful of this project when scheduling deliveries for next week and refrain from parking in the restricted area.

A small section of the Commons Parking Lot will be roped off on Tuesday, September 7, and Thursday, September 9, to accommodate work being done at 221 W. Washington Street which necessitates use of a crane to lift supplies and equipment onto and off of the roof. For everyone’s safety, the adjacent parking spaces will be blocked off on those days (see above map); however, access will be available on Wednesday. Please be advised that delivery trucks will not have access through that area on those two days. Should you have deliveries being made in the Commons Parking Lot, you may need to notify your vendors or make alternate arrangements. The Marquette DDA makes every attempt to minimize disruptions while coordinating closures such as this and appreciate your cooperation.
