Upcoming Temporary Overnight Parking Ban For Classic Cars on Third Car Show

On Saturday, August 21, the annual Classic Cars on Third classic car show will be held. This car show commemorates Jessica Drummond, a victim of domestic violence, with all proceeds to benefit the Women’s Center, Inc.

Third Street, from Michigan to Park Street, will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for this event on Saturday, August 21. Additionally, on Friday, August 20, overnight parking will not be allowed in this location to ensure the event area is clear for set up.

The Classic Cars on Third Car Show will run from noon to 4 p.m., with vehicles arriving from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Unfortunately, vehicles may be unable to access parking lots or driveways during this time. It may be in your best interest to preemptively park any vehicles that may be needed throughout that day on an adjacent street, as vehicles will NOT be allowed in or out of the area during that time on Saturday. It is anticipated that several hundred classic cars will enter this car show and several hundred spectators are expected as well.
