MRHC Presents: Michigan Mining Scrip

The Marquette Regional History Center presents: Michigan Mining Scrip
Wednesday, August 3, 6:30 p.m.
Many years of extensive research led to the publication of this complete and colorful tome, Michigan Mining Scrip. Three authors and collectors collaborated on research of copper and iron mining companies throughout the U.P. that created their own company scrip (currency). Author David Gelwicks will be here
to present on this decades long project and share his passion for rare fiscal papers and their stories. $5 suggested donation. Visit www.marquettehistory.org for more information.

The MRHC is a 501c3 private non-profit organization established in 1918. We are the home to a history museum with permanent and special exhibits, a research library and a gift store at 145 W Spring Street, downtown Marquette.
