MDDA Presents Women’s Center with Proceeds from Ladies Night Out

Recently, the Marquette Downtown Development Authority presented the Women’s Center with the Proceeds of passport sales from Ladies Night Out, which took place on Thursday, November 18. They were also presented with non-perishable goods collected for the Harbor House, which is the Women’s Center shelter for victims of domestic violence. Ladies Night Out participants were able to obtain a passport for a $2 suggested donation. If passport holders visited 10 participating downtown businesses and had their passports stamped, they would be eligible to win one of six gift baskets packed with items donated from local downtown businesses. Proceeds from the night totaled $1,427.41.
