MDDA Announces Informational Presentation
The Marquette Downtown Development Authority will be making an informational presentation at the December 9, 2021 regular meeting of the Downtown Development Authority Board of Directors. The meeting will begin at 8:00 a.m. at the Marquette Commons, 112 S. Third Street, Marquette, MI 49855. The purpose of this presentation is to inform the Board, taxing jurisdictions, and the general public of the Authority’s accomplishments of the past year and the goals and projects to be undertaken in the coming year.
Pursuant to Michigan Public Act 57 of 2018, this presentation will fulfill the second of two informational meeting requirements for the 2021 calendar year. PA 57 legislation requires we notify the clerk of the governing body of each taxing jurisdiction levying taxes captured by the MDDA.
