We’re excited to introduce Downtown Day Out, a fresh take on the event formerly known as Ladies Night Out! This updated event is designed for everyone to use the event passport and enjoy a day of exploring and supporting local businesses in downtown Marquette. Whether you're looking for special promotions, giveaways, or just a fun day out, Downtown Day Out has something for everyone. It’s also a great opportunity to get a jumpstart on holiday shopping while enjoying all that our vibrant downtown community has to offer.
For those still looking for that night on the town, Ladies Night Out will still be on the schedule from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM with all of your favorite giveaways and promotions from your favorite downtown businesses.
With over 50 participating downtown businesses, there is no shortage of opportunities to kickstart your holiday shopping season or treat yourself to a gift. Not only do you have the chance to take advantage of amazing specials and promotions, but the chance to win one of the many Downtown Day Out gift baskets containing items donated from businesses across the downtown!
Downtown Day Out Passport
Pick up your Downtown Day Out passport at one of the participating locations with a suggested donation of $2 per passport. All money raised is donated to the Women’s Center of Marquette.
Present your passport to an employee at a participating location to mark and confirm that you have visited that business on the day of the event.
Visit at least 10 different locations to qualify for the raffle of one of the downtown gift baskets.
Return your passport to the Marquette Commons on Third Street on the day of the event (November 21st) or the Marquette DDA office between 9-5 PM the following day.
Be sure to sign your name on your passport so you can be contacted if your passport is drawn to win a gift basket!

Proceeds from Downtown Day passport sales go to the Women’s Center who provides counseling, education and advocacy for survivors of domestic and sexual abuse.
