TREE REMOVAL IN ROSEWOOD WALKWAY
The ash trees in the Rosewood Walkway, located at 213 S. Front St. in Downtown Marquette, will be removed the mornings of Wednesday, August 17, Thursday, August 18, and Friday, August 19, 2022. The tentative times for removal on these days are 7 a.m. to approximately 11 a.m. Both the Rosewood Walkway and the eastern sidewalk of S. Front St. between Main St. and Spring St. will be closed during the removal for safety purposes and walking traffic will be re-routed.
These ash trees are infected with Emerald Ash Borer and are being removed for safety purposes. The trees will likely be replaced this fall with trees that are conducive to living in a unique location such as the Rosewood Walkway.
