The Marquette Regional History Center presents: 15th Annual Cemetery Walking Tour

Posted on June 23, 2020

Join The Marquette Regional History Center for their ever-popular walking tour at Holy Cross Cemetery. New this year, this will be a self-guided tour to allow for social distancing. Stop by the chapel and pick up a map, then walk the cemetery at your own pace. Each site will be marked with a poster board containing a story and photos. This year looks back on the roaring ‘20s of 100 years ago. Local personalities from the 1920s who are buried at Holy Cross will be honored as their stories are told. Maps will be available on site Wednesday, July 15 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Rain date is Thursday, July 16 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.) $5 suggested donation. Donations this year are even more important. Go to www.marquettehistory.org for more details.
