Thursday, January 23, 7:00-9:00 pm at Kaufman Auditorium
Join the Marquette Regional History Center as Jim and Jack bring you back in time to see photos and hear stories about South Marquette and North Marquette. Some say it was a rivalry that may have caused a scuffle or two. Many do not agree where the official boundary lies. Everyone agrees these neighborhoods were about family and friends and a sense of community. See photographs from the Superior View and Longyear Library collections. If you missed the South Marquette walking tour last summer, now is your chance to see and hear what everyone is talking about.
This is a fundraiser for the Marquette Regional History Center.
$15 first floor seating / $20 balcony seating in advance;
