MAY 14 DDA MEETING PARTICIPATION

Due to Executive Order 2020-21, the May 14 DDA meeting will be held virtually with Board Members and Staff attending remotely through Zoom video conferencing.

The meeting will be streamed on the City of Marquette YouTube channel starting at 7:30 a.m.. The YouTube channel is located at www.youtube.com/user/CityofMarquetteGov. Please note that the livestream will have at least a 20 second delay.

Public Participation

There will be three options for public participation in these meetings: video conferencing, phone conferencing or written comment. There will be two public comment periods for each meeting, one at the beginning and one at the end. Comments will be limited to three minutes and speakers must give their name and address. Written comments will be limited to 500 words.

Members of the public wishing to make a video comment will need to visit https://us02web.zoom.us/j/84954070042 on a computer or smart device that has a camera.

Members of the public wishing to call in and make a comment over the phone will need to call 312-626-6799 and enter the meeting ID (849 5407 0042).

When participating via video or phone conferencing, you will be placed into a virtual lobby/on-hold until the Public Comment portions of the meetings are reached. Once Public Comment begins, the DDA Chairperson will go through each person waiting in the lobby one at a time and provide them with the opportunity to address the Board. It is recommended that participants follow the meeting on YouTube to know when the Public Comment portion is occurring and be ready to make their comment.

The video and phone conference lobby will open at 7:20 a.m.

Written comments can be submitted to becky@downtownmarquette.org. Written submissions will be accepted until 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13.
