Frequently Asked Questions About the Marquette Commons

Frequently Asked Questions about the Marquette Commons:

  1. Am I able to access the Marquette Commons early to set up for my event?
No, but you can pay for additional hours. We ask that when a renter reserves the Commons, they include time for setup and cleanup of their event. From time to time, we have multiple events per day, and our maintenance workers need time to be able to clean the Commons between rentals. We rent the Commons out on very short notice, so there may not be another renter when you reserve the Commons, but there may be one by the time your event takes place. Setting up early may also infringe with another renter’s time at the Commons.
Please check with the Marquette Downtown Development Authority office (906) 228-9475 Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to see if the Commons are available outside of your originally scheduled rental time and adjust your rental payment.
